1990 Pathfinder parking/e-brake help
I searched.... came up with nothing... So i went thru and looked at each and every thread title since "the beginning".... Found nothing.
I just got my 1990 Nissan Pathfinder shipped to me here in Germany (USAF). The e-brake is all but non-fuctional. Will tightening the hex nut at the Y help at all? Also, my brake light is on on my dash aswell. I'm thinking pads and rotors will help the problem of it pulling hard right when i get on the brakes. Any ideas, thoughts or experince?

Do you have rear disk brakes or drums? anyhow you can adjust it with the hex nut. If your have disk brakes, it could be that the parking brake shoes are in need of replacement if adjust the next nut doesn't work. Have you check your brake fluid level? If it pulls hard, it could be a stuck caliper pin or something of that nature.

Drums im pretty sure. i adjusted the hex nut at the Y and filled the resevoir. It seems to be working alot better. However, it still pulls to the right while brakeing.
