Calmini doesn't make anything over the standard 3" control arm lift. Your only option for 4" is the trailmaster lift....which is really just a drop-down lift and not good for much more than mall crawling. |

Depending on your budget you could do a SAS. I've seen them done for under $2000.
The other lift kits will only give you 3" max. www.purenissan.com www.4x4parts.com |

lol Nissan hardbodies (d21s) have a body lift when compared to pathfinders but that is the only possible factory lift. Yes it is true the older hardbodies came with smaller tires. However Nissan did nothing to the suspension or body height throughout the 10.5 year span they produced the hardbody. The body is just lifted from the factory if you compare it to a pathfinder but that is it...

If you're just looking to fit larger tires, go with the body lift, as the susp. lift doesn't actually give you the clearance you'll be looking for. check out 4x4parts.com, ask around, and you'll find the answers you're looking for. If you are dead set on susp. lift, and do serious wheeling, I'd seriously consider the sas. If not, a susp. lift will allow for slightly larger tires, as long as the rims aren't backset much, or slightly more travel, with your current tires. Not much of both, though. If you do some searching on 4x4's forum history, you'll find all these discussions have been thoroughly hashed out, and perhaps come away with a better idea of what to do to get the results you're looking for. Good luck.
By the way, hello everyone. I just showed up, and I have to say, I'm very impressed. This is a top-notch site. I'm good with electrical systems and the problems associated with them, so feel free to send me a message if you have something you think I could help you out with. Thanks.
