i have a 95 pathfinder, this past week its started to bog down while driving in town sometimes stalling completly, sometimes when it does stall i have to wait a few minute, becuz it wont start. also does this when driving slow up hills. but it will drive fine on the freeway, the engine isnt getting hot, seemed to start doing it though when it is hot outside. fuel pump?

this afternoon, i bought a code puller, and did all the different modes. keeps giving me the same # 55 which means no malfuntion, even after it stalls! i replaced the wires and plus, the air filter, put two bottles of fuel system cleaner in this past week. replaced one of the vacum hoses. hadnt stalled until since 22 nights ago, and just i filed it with gas just before i got home its stalled out twice!? now i'm gunna try seafoam in the tank maybe the float is sticking. anyone with ideas?

Distributors are common failures on them.

Mine was doing the similar shit and ended up just being a week coil wire (just the connection). Does it need a tune up anyway?
Had z24 too, except on that one the pick up module inside the distributor actually went bad.

i done a tune up, except the cap and rotor, gunna it soon. maybe the ignition coil too.

funny thing is it died on me 2 times friday and it took a few mins each time before it would start again, 1st time, i popped the hood, grabbed another battery, and i dont know if it was just because it sat long enough or becuz i jumped it, it started! so i went back home and noticed the negative battery terminal was craoded, i cleaned it up, and it hasnt happened since. could that of been it? maybe cuz the electrics werent grounded properly?
