We're going to have to buy ammo in Nevada or Arizona
SB 427 passed. Hopefully JB will do the right thing and veto it.

I'm good for at least one zombi attack before I'll have to load up on ammo again.
I already by out of state. This law will suck, but ammo here is over priced.

On a good note, SB798 died. That was to make airsoft/toy guns bright colored.

Take your drivers license number, thumb print, and address when buying ammo.

![]() Say a 9mm was used. Does everybody that bought 9mm become a suspect? Sounds like a way to get more information than they should ever have about their ammo buying citizens.

They want a disarmed populace. That pesky 2nd ammendment keeps getting in the way. Public safety has nothing to do with it. Do you really think "they" give a flying fuck? "They" have brilliantly deduced that going for ammo will effectively accomplish their objective, greater control over a helpless population. Quote:

![]() Guess I need to stock up on powder & primers. ![]() Is this just for handgun ammo or all ammo? EDIT: "Ammunition capable of being used in a handgun." Which is just about anything, really...

"Rifle" calibers right? See: http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/firea...ls.php?ID=1626 It's a very slippery slope. |

It goes back to the senate for a second vote.
http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/11-12/...06_status.html Here is the bill details. About halfway down is the calibers. http://info.sen.ca.gov/pub/11-12/bil...d_asm_v93.html So 556/223 and 7.62x39 aren't listed. I guess they don't consider them pistol rounds. Looks like a Draco might join my collection.

Reminds me of a story about Russians in the Cold War times.
As it was told to me, I'm not sure about fact or fiction... If a Russian wanted to go hunting they had to go to an office, a game warden of sorts, and ask for a firearm. Seems the firearms (don't remember if they were individually owned or state owned) were kept there at the office under lock and key. Ammunition was issued to individuals. Not like, "Hey comrade, I need a few boxes of ammo so me and the boy can go plinking and hunting, so hook a brotha up." More like, "Here are you 3-5 rounds, bring back all spent cases... or else." Is Cali headed in that direction?
