I already by out of state. This law will suck, but ammo here is over priced.

Say a 9mm was used. Does everybody that bought 9mm become a suspect?

Sounds like a way to get more information than they should ever have about their ammo buying citizens.

Not that I'm aware of. If this thing passes I see some road trips in the future. Wonder if the FFLs are gonna need to report truckloads of maniacs buying pallets of .mil caliber ammo?

And they are correct. Evil and misguided and duplicitous, but they are definitely not stupid...their actions are achieving their objective.

Reminds me of a story about Russians in the Cold War times.

As it was told to me, I'm not sure about fact or fiction...

If a Russian wanted to go hunting they had to go to an office, a game warden of sorts, and ask for a firearm. Seems the firearms (don't remember if they were individually owned or state owned) were kept there at the office under lock and key. Ammunition was issued to individuals. Not like, "Hey comrade, I need a few boxes of ammo so me and the boy can go plinking and hunting, so hook a brotha up." More like, "Here are you 3-5 rounds, bring back all spent cases... or else."

Is Cali headed in that direction?
