The last batch of 5.45 side folder krink kits, unfired kits were 750.
The price on these doesnt really surprise me.

I guess if you had a lathe you could make an AR barrel work. Still thats 150$ plus a bunch of time.

Not sure it's 'really' cheaper

The rumor I heard was to be demilled, not virgin, and original barrels. They are virgin(), and the optional barrel (either chrome lined or not) is a US one. Buy 3 get $20 off each one, or there's free shipping. Bulk discounts.

$599 non chrome M92

$625 chromed M92

$675 chromed w/4mags M92

Hmmm 5.56 bolt face is 9.6mm, the 5.45 is 10mm
So those barrelless 5.56 kits might be worth something afterall.

A demilled kit was fully built as a rifle, then cut up. A virgin kit needs holes drilled for barrel pins, after you determine the components correct location. These kits are NOT for a newbie builder. They are not incredibly difficult, but they are not an easy hour build like a demilled romy either.

No. Only if they were in transit when the barrel ban happened.

Which brings me back to the 40' container still stranded in customs, full of demilled yugos. I thought Atlantic snagged them, but maybe not
