I think I will basically sit on it and start it randomly to keep the batteries from going dead and the gas moving around. If someone comes along with the right amount of money and interest in it, I might let it go to a good home. I like it too much to actively start trying to sell it. I will not be a motivated seller who has a fire sale.

I've just read back through the thread and have a few comments...

There are five sizes. There's several pictures in one of the early posts and the last pic shows four sizes. There are actually five. The fifth and smallest size is the 7.62 or 556 labeled one and the lot of them are shown on the pallet in the back of my truck.

In the "group picture", there is one box of that one size. Let's be clear about that. That is the only one. And in magic marker, someone wrote "1 of 80" on it.

I am really, really not looking forward to shipping these. Packaging is going to be a bitch. And my fear is that FedEx is going to tell me that they want more to ship them than what I decide to sell them for.

I'm torn between the options of slapping a price on them and selling them to the people who called dibs in order of their posts and having an online auction for them.

I figure I'm going to think on it a little longer and post up final details about how I'm going to price them and ship them, maybe as early as tomorrow. Stay tuned.

I know you have a life, but you might try taking them to fedex or u p s or even the post office and see how much it would cost to ship each one individually. Hell, you can even go online and determine that. Just pick a zip code that is on the other side of the country so its a high estimate.

With apologies to everyone else involved, this is exactly what I'm thinking of doing since it will be such a pain in the ass to package and ship and take the money for all of them from individuals. I had a feeling you were interested in them all.

The more I think about it, the more I like this idea. I need to keep two boxes; one 120 mm box (the biggest) and one 40 mm box (the other fairly large one). But I'll work up a price on the entire pallet and have it available at our facility with our fork truck on the day your truck is scheduled to pick up.

Again, sorry everyone else who wanted ones and twos, but there's not enough time in my life for fiddling with them individually...and I want them gone quickly. If GLO and I can come to an agreement, I'm getting rid of them this way.

We haven't made a deal yet. I'm just stating the obvious; that it would be far easier for me to deal with placing them all back on the pallet, shrink wrapping the hell out of them, and waiting on whatever common carrier GreatLakesOffroad sends to my company's dock.

For those who are sure to be bothered by the fact that I have dangled the bait and then taken it away so quickly, let's always remember that this was primarily about putting some money into Tim Florian's family's hands or Blue Ribbon Coalition's land use war chest. Its secondary purpose was to see if I could help out friends here by getting them some odd sizes of cans that they can't normally pick up at the local Army/Navy. I think that no matter what type of smoking deal I would have put together on individual cans, the shipping would have killed the deals.
