Scope for 10-22

My house got broken into 6 months ago or so and all my guns got stollen. Good news is they caught the guy, and although i didnt get anything back he is doing 16 years in prison.
First gun i wanted to replace was my old wood stock 10-22. Big 5 had one on sale yesterday so i snaged it up. What im looking for is a scope that would be easier then others to visually look through quicker, maybe a bigger "eye" lense. I dont think more then 5x power max is necisary. i mainly shoot the gun from my kitchen at mice in my chiken coop that are running around steeling feed about 25 yards away and the iron sights just arnt enough.
Any sugestions? Thanks

1- that sucks. Hope insurance helped you.

2- Mueller APT. I really love mine. Great scope. I have it on my Savage Mk-II .22 and zeroed for 100yrds. if you look at the OSR Competion thread you will see my 25 yard target.

Mueller is hard to beat.

OR you can GOOGLE a Dunham's 30 percent off coupon, go to Dunham's and buy a NIKON or Leupold at 30% off their non-sale prices.

I used it to get a 511/2 (AA non night vision model) EOTech for about $320 OTD....

I've been poking around on rimfirecentral lately, reading about CZ's... seems the Mueller, as mentioned, is an excellent choice. I bought a Weaver from Sportsman's a while back for my 17HMR, mil-dot reticle and 1/4 MOA turrets; I'm really liking the scope, but the long term reliability is still unknown.

On my 10/22, I have ghost ring sights.

I have had this tasco for 18 years on this gun. I think it's a 4x32, I love it. The choate stock is the best thing ever. The pistol grip makes such a difference.

On my two "light weight" scoped .22's I use a couple old Leupolds, a 2x7 and a fixed 4x, both good for small rodent control, my go-to sage rat guns. The heavy target .22's run 6.5x20 and a fixed 12x, also old Leupolds but pretty hard to find a rodent in that small of a field of view. If you buy good quality glass, you only cry once. For your use, I would think a decent 1x4 or 2x7 would be plenty.
