I check Wal-Mart yesterday. They had about 10 of the 500ish packs of Winchester shit, maybe 5 of those 333 packs, plus some other 500ish packs of other brands. Lots of the 50 packs as well. Canadian Tire had a similar selection.

Oh yeah, CT had 3 of the Federal 55gr FMJ cans of .223. But they want like $299 for them or something, maybe if I had less than 400 left I'd grab another can at that price.

So, I dunno what you guys problem is

Our local wal mart had some. They got a case in and put it on the counter, it sold out in less than 10 minutes. They get one case per week and it always sells out immediately.

My thing is, it's .22LR. What the hell are you gonna do with that besides make the attacker mad? At these prices, you may as well buy ammo for a gun that will stop someone.

I always hear this... I dont know if you have ever been shot by .22 It may not be a .45 or anything, but its not a BB gun either.

I feel like anyone other than a coked up tweaker that gits hit with a couple of .22's to the chest is going to stop whatever the fuck they are doing. Even if they don't drop and die, like a heavy defensive round would make them do.

How determined do you have to be to continue to walk into a wall of .22?

Jeff Cooper, the father of modern defensive handgunning said it best - "3 rounds of anything between the navel and the collarbone and they are pretty much handled"

EDIT: I have been searching for where I found that qoute attributed to Jeff Cooper, but cannot at the present find it

can you tell me the diffrence between a 22lr and a 5.56 wizzing by your head?

Myself and quite a few others here could keep a large group quite occupied and hiding for a while with a surpressed 22lr and a cargo pocket full of ammo.

6:30 this morning, I bought 2 of the Win 333 from Wally @$9.97/ea.
There were over 50 on the shelf. They had the Win 1000rd box for $48.97.
Over 50 boxes of 9, 20~30 boxes of 223...

At lunch it was all gone

It would be interesting to see. I bought a case last year when I got two Ruger SR22's for $139. Got home and started looking for a place to store it. Did not realize I already had 3k rounds put back. I thought how crazy to have over 8k .22's and now I realize I am set for a while.

I thought I was all set until I bought a Ruger 22/45. A box doesn't last too long with one of those around.

Post it on a local gun board. I've had pretty good luck selling stuff that way in the last year.

Dont let shipping stop you from making good money. Find a good UPS store and pack your items well. ORM-D shipping just costs extra and requires more lines to be filled out.

UPS ground is just my preference as FedEx has made some of my packages adult sig required without me asking for it or paying for it.

Sell me a couple of boxes first, at a decent profit for yourself without killing me.

I think I have enough to wear out a few 10/22s...

Must... resist... urge to sell...

Local Walmart had a bunch on the shelf the other day, next day it was gone. It's good to see they are still getting it in regularly.
