1911's and custom work
Here is my first 1911 I ever worked on. I did a Beavertail and trigger job. I also opened the ejection port some as well as polish the feed ramp and all the other little stuff. I parkerized it at a freinds house and love the finish. It's kind of a greenish/black in person.
It is a Sistema (colt) from Argentina. It's my understanding that Colt sold them the tooling and went there and trained them in its use. I paid 199.00 for it and shot it for along time befor i ever toutched it.

Anyone ever build a 40% casting ? I've built/ helped on two of them and this is my next one.

So has anyone else ever built from a % casting ? They have them for AR's too.
