Smith and Weson 29-2 (44mag)
I have one with a 4 inch barrel Nickel finish in great shape. Probally less than 300 rounds.Has rubber grips. not a bad hand cannon. Anyhow a guy I know keeps buggin me abou it. What is it worth? .I dont really shoot it . i carry my 45ACP. having thoughts about letting it go. Cmon gun gurus let kme know what a fiar price would be.

I was refering to out of production guns in general. Some stuff never goes up in value. I've got a Mossberg 640K in .22 mag that I got for my birthday in about 1973. It's not worth a penny more than it cost, even if it was new in the box. And now that I think about it, my first centerfire pistol was a S&W mod 28. It was kind of a turd. Got it cheap and had a hard time selling it. Nobody wanted an N frame .357.

search gunbroker.com with the key word "29-2" that will give you an idea what people are asking and what they are actually getting (look at the ones actually getting bids).
