school me on H&R please.

I just bought an H&R model 865 .22 rifle.

What, if anything, are these guns worth? I payed $70.

Also, the back of the bolt has a threaded portion with a "female" portion that screws in and out on the bolt. What is this, and should it be screwed all the way in?

Thanks a lot.

Main spring housing maybe?
If so then yes, it needs to be tight.
