ok guys, here one for ya, got a 1969 mercury 650 (65HP) with the lower gear casing cracked really bad, Where can i get a new one, And what do you think it would run me? i searched the net, and call around, can even find one, OR even a part number on it.

BTW if you know anyone in Nor Cal/So.Oregon that rebuilds outboards hit me up, im going to need it done.

Googled "used outboard motor parts" and got 1,410,000 hits in .25 seconds. Try harder.

It can be welded up and with a guy that knows what he is doing. You would never know it was cracked in the first place. But try this place and see what they can turn up for you ScreamandFly.com

Newsflash dipshit, I own several boats and have numerous friends in the marine industry. You could have likely found what you need in the first dozen or so links. There's a huge marine salvage place in Alabama That specializes in old seemingly obscure shit. But why search for yourself, when you can sit in front of your "puter" on an unrelated website and try and get someone to do it for you?
