At the top is my antiquated P14 Which in it's day was one of the most tricked out 1911 style 45's you could build. Para frame, Clark barrel and comp, Brown hammer and beavertail, Wilson springs, Guncraft trigger, Redbuff mount, yada, yada, yada. The stainless one is my AMT hardballer which was my first 1911. It started the addiction. It's stock except for a Springfield barrel that's ramped and the throat polished, and a Shaw mag funnel. It's my beater but it can shoot toe to toe with a tuned gold cup. Next to that is my P12 that is totally stock but will be recieving tritium sights in the near future, and last but not least, my Springfield. This started life as a basic Springfield that a friend won at the nationals. I bought it and built it up as an open class gun. most of the stuff on my P14 used to be on here. After I built the Para, I tuned the Springfield back down to a limited class gun. It's got a Springfield frame, slide, and barrel, lowered Bomar, the internals are Wilson, Brown, Shaw, and Pachmayer. And I did the parkerizing.

I have seen you post these before but don't think I ever caught that you parked it yourself. In the photo it seems a lighter almost silvery park, how exactly did you do it? Maybe start up a new how to thread?

The park is a zinc manganese phosphate or just a zinc park. It actually looks like graphite in color. I've tried different things over the years to get it darker, but it always turns out about the same. I still have two shotguns and two pistols that I did and later in the week I post pics and a "how to".

They assemble them in house, they have the receivers cast by Ruger, then shipped off to get machined by another place, either in Australia or Canada.

Depends on what model you get. I believe the TRPs are made in the US, and then fitted by gun smiths.

If you get the Pro model (first post, available with or without a rail) are all made in their US custom shop.

my old springfield ultra compact v10. i have had this for a long time and a lot of round have been through it. the slide is loose and the finish is getting bad. i think this will get reworked in the near future.

Is this available yet? I can't seem to find it and none of the Operators I can find look like that one.

Notice the custom logo on the slide? It's a Springfield Pro Rail, the FBI Hostage Rescue Team pistol. It's available with or without the rail, and its equivalent to the other high-end 1911s available out there. They are hand fitted, have a match nowlin barrel, and are extremely accurate/reliable.

I have one on order because they're fairly rare and unique. They are about $2300...
