I use a holster from high noon. It is an IWB and very comfortable. I carry the sub compact.
http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Prod...duct_line.html My wife has the same holster for her pm9. That gun is soo small and the holster is comfortable I forget that I am carrying it sometimes. The holster I am using now is the bare asset. I have the down under on the way for the xd and my 1911. Last edited by Toyoda; 12-06-2007 at 12:24 PM. |

I sew my own. its a in the waist canted holster and i wear it either on my side or small of back depending on mood. Its for a full size XD 45 and if you get a GOOD IWB holster it will hide easily. once in a while I will actualy use the XD gear belt holster if I am wearing a coat. it surprisingly retains it well.
Just practice with it and how you carry it.

I just came back to the office and the Don Hume IWB I ordered was waiting for me. Really well made, and at a fair price. I usually don't carry on my person so I ordered the model with the thumb break for extra security when its in the truck.

I use Galco's, but I don't have an XD, so not sure.
I can get Don Hume, Galco, Bianchi, Safariland

Hard to beat for the price. I bought the galco stow and go, it is junk. Same price as the high noon.
The other two I have ordered are similar to this one, but the have a piece of leather that covers the gun so it won't ride into you. I haven't had this holster with either the xd or the pm9 dig into me. Last edited by Toyoda; 12-06-2007 at 01:39 PM. |

I was referring to the highnooners, et al.
That Galco is a nice unit, and I carry in a C-TAC about half the time. No offense to you guys, just the cheap bastids, and Gil-the-fobus-lover.

Gil-the-fobus-lover's might be cheap, but it is pretty damn nice.

I like this one for a 4" XD40. It's comfortable and rides pretty high.
desantisholster.com I would take a close look at the C-tac for IWB carry. |

I carry my XD 45 Compact in a UBG holster. Awesome, beautiful holster & second to none customer service. About a 3 week wait time. I just ordered my second holster.

Thanks for the pics!! The Galco's and UGB's the look nice too, I thin I am leaning towards either of these. If I decide on a Galco I will be giving you a call Aloha.
