Piecing together Stevens Model 16

Long story short, I found this gun at the bottom of an old carpenter's chest full of tools. My dad bought the whole chest for a few dollars at a local auction, and I believe the gun went unnoticed due to the fact that all I have is trigger/receiver and barrel. It is a J. Stevens Arms and Tool Co. *Crackshot* .22LR. It is the earlier model 16 Side-Lever. I have found through google search that the model 16 was produced from 1900-1913, and the more common model 26 was from 1912 to like 1941? They are refered to as pocket rifles and were sold as children's guns. Stevens made several different youth guns like these pre WWII, and savage/stevens still makes a "Stevens Favorite", which I think now comes in the hot, new .17 HMR. All this BS aside, I would appreciate any help locating a good parts gun...or just parts to complete this one. I think it would be a great little trappers gun, but is nowhere near collector quality. I suppose if this is a lost cause and should be sold for scrap, feel free to tell me where to stick it. Likewise, if someone on here has an almost complete gun, and needs any of the parts I have..well..then, HOLLA.

I don't have any pics of the little bastard, or a red star, but I'll try to put up a link later.
