My 700 .308

Had it for a while, but just finally got everything done on it, trigger job, (3.75lbs),lapped the scope, bore sight and final sight in.
paid 300 total for the gun, scope and a hard case for it, and i added the bi-pod.

scope is a Burris 6x24 signature series.

the group on the target is Winchester white box at 100 yards.

Nice.
I have ordered a JAE 700 for a build. I had to order 3 stocks for my first order so got two JAE100 and the 700. Going to be may before I see them, but I am still excited.

My roomate pretty much has the same base rifle. He's done nothing to it but but a Nikon scope on it and adjust the trigger down. It shoots some very nice groups right out of the box.

Is JAE the new AI? AI used to offer a chasis for the 700 that was pretty sexy.

the aics (accuracy international chassis system) is still available. lots of people are using them now for custom builds.

I am looking at one of the LE 700, basically the M40. But since I am going so high on the stock maybe the SPS HB Varmint might be a better way to go

How much is that stock in the pic above? I've got a 700 XCR that shoots really tight, but I'm not so big on the stock right now.

This is the JEA-100 but still shows some of the
I am getting the EBR url in the cheek piece on one of the 100s and the 700
The 100 is going to be OD with black add ons and the 700 is dark earth, and all of the components light coyote.
Will be painting the rifles also. I think they both will be pretty sweet.

Remington is just starting to ship their 700P MLR, .338 Lapua. It looks to be very nice and runs about $1000-$1100.

They don't make anything for a Winchester Model 70, unfortunately.
