I am looking to buy a case of .45ACP that is decent but inexpensive. No gun shows around here as far as i know, so it would need to be ordered online.

Its a SHTF stockpile, more than anything.

Any brand/source suggestions?

What do you consider inexpensive?

About the cheapest .45ACP ammo I've found is CCI Blazers and Wolf. Some don't like chambering steel...but it sends a projectile downrange.

Wolf ammo works great in my Glocks, and it`s always cheaper than Blazer. I even use it in match competition where they don`t let you pickup your brass.

Of course it did....

But some $$$$1911$$$$$ or other shooters, for that matter, are about as bad as ARFies and Wolf ammo. This statement wasn't meant to include Paveman into that kind of fray.

I don't want to spend name brand pricing, even Winchester white box stuff is getting $$$. Something a little less money but not bad enough to be inconsistent or corrode the bbl badly.

I don't care about policing brass and I don't reload. As long as it kills zombies and covers the above issues, I am interested.

Magtech stuff is okay on a budget. Kind of dirty stuff but decent performance and the brass is decent if you reload. Can be found around $16/50rds locally. White box Win is worth the extra $5 imo.

I like the Wolf stuff myself. Mine run it fine and I figure the steel aint hurting a thing.

I get blazer brass @ wal-mart for $14/50 rounds. thats about as cheap as I can find around here.

Same for me. I'm just basically using it until I get a good stockpile of brass and a reloading press.

I was at a gunshow today trying to answer this same question.

No one there had ANYTHING that was cheaper then the WWB at my local walmart.

My 1911 is sometimes picky with the WWB, but it runs like a raped date on Blazer ammo. The prices here in Florida are comprable to y'alls prices everywhere else.

Winchester 100 rd. box is around $25 up in New England, with 9mm running somewhere around $17, and .40 cal somewhere near $22. Cheapest stuff by far, and my glock just chews the stuff up.
