Not Cali Legal. I dunno about home built, but I am pretty sure semi auto is no good. I know AR pistols can be done legally in single shot. Research on www.calguns.net. If it is legal help me build one

if you are in california, i think you are out of luck. i think a semi-auto pistol needs to have the mag feed from the pistol grip. i am almost positive this includes rimfires. pretty shitty laws when that is considered an assault weapon

I can't decide whether I like the charger or it's dumb as hell, but seems like you would either have to buy a pistol reciever or spend the 200 for the sbr tax stamp... Even going the 0-80% reciever build as they're talking about, it looks like you would have to have a fixed mag? Gay as fawk. Build a 16" bbl folding stock (oh, right ) 10/22 or buy a mkIII. Or even better yet, move to a real state. When you do, aloha is selling them for $300 at the moment.

what about something like this? You can't add a stock to a pistol, right? So I'm guessing you would have to start with a rifle, then SBR it?

That's an integrally suppressed 10/22 "pocket rifle."

You could start with the charger pistol and SBR it, but it would just be cheaper to buy a wally world 10/22 for $200 and go from there since you'll be ditching the stock and barrel anyway.

do you know if the suppressed barrel was a custom item, or who sells them? I've seen a few online, but most of them have been full length barrels

Liberty cans could probably whip up something custom. Another option that would likely be less expensive, at the price of a couple decibels, would just be to get a muzzle can and a short threaded barrel.

the latter is the route I would most likely take as I also have a ruger MKIII that would be alot of fun with a can.

Not to mention that muzzle cans are downright inexpensive compared to an integral.

Yeap, but only long guns, air guns, and black powder. You can get ammo for pretty much anything though. The first fire arm I ever bought myself was a .270 Winchester that came from Wally World, I mowed a crap ton of yards for that rifle. Wal Mart can get pretty much anything that major manufactures carry and at a good price you just may have to wait a while if they don't have what you want behind the counter already. They're great to use as a price match with fire arms dealers that have what you want in stock and will price match. One thing I know for sure is that I'll never live in Commiefornia, I intend to visit some day, but that's about it. No offense, but I know I'd go crazy, well, crazier.

These have been around for a few years. When I first saw the Charger, I thought it was one of these.



They sell a stock and barrel package to convert your 10/22, but it's cheaper to just buy the Charger. I know someone said that you can't where you're located, but maybe these parts are somehow legal .

Here's the link to the kit. Cheapest package is $320 and temporarily out of stock, but there are some others for slightly more money.

I know that I've not been around as long as some of you old farts, but I'm 26 and I can't remember any time you could buy hand guns at Wally World in Arkansas. I did get a Daisy pellet/dart pistol from there when I was like 14, but I don't think they've sold "real" hand guns in my lifetime, at least the last 15 to 20 years anyway.

Haha, you must be in the gang On the Rocks. I don't pick out anyone specifically buy you bastards have disposed of my gang twice now, so I try to be a constant nuisance for any and all of those guys, oh and you started it. When I had just started playing, you, some ArizonaJeep fella, and another guy who keeps changing his user name, made me their bitch for a few weeks, I just try to return the favor. .

Back on topic, I noticed that those barrels are all around 16.5" long, and a lot of other suppliers have the same style of barrels. Maybe some place like mentioned above would sell just the stock, and you could get the barrel somewhere else cheaper. I haven't got the slightest clue as to the legalities of all of this stuff, just thinking out loud, or on screen anyway.

Edit: Seems to me you'd just get a barrel, and a 4x6 then start whittling
