I can't see the video, but being that it is black powder - I know it is not my dad.
He shoots BP once a year at our State BP shoot, and doesn't like it.

Pedersoli percussion cap.
It is an older one. No chokes, just cylinder bores. It is effective to about 25 yards, though occasionally I will get a "miracle bb" out at 50 yards. I once shot at a rabbit at probably over 50 yards and to my amazement killed it. Another time I shot at a turkey that was probably close to 50 yards and dropped it dead. Only one pellet went through its heart ![]() I bought it from gunbroker about 8 years ago. It is a lot of fun, but for some reason they put a monte carlo type stock on it. It will get brutal on your cheek bone if you get loose on it.

The shot snake hanging from my side is circa 1840's.
I bought it from e-bay, and replaced the leather pouch and strap with one I made.
