I can't see the video, but being that it is black powder - I know it is not my dad.
He shoots BP once a year at our State BP shoot, and doesn't like it.

Its a little short guy with a huge grey beard wearing carhart overalls shooting a 4 guage shotgun...

That's me squirrel hunting in a few years.
I still need the gray beard and a 4 ga.

Pedersoli percussion cap.
It is an older one. No chokes, just cylinder bores. It is effective to about 25 yards, though occasionally I will get a "miracle bb" out at 50 yards. I once shot at a rabbit at probably over 50 yards and to my amazement killed it. Another time I shot at a turkey that was probably close to 50 yards and dropped it dead. Only one pellet went through its heart

I bought it from gunbroker about 8 years ago. It is a lot of fun, but for some reason they put a monte carlo type stock on it. It will get brutal on your cheek bone if you get loose on it.

The shot snake hanging from my side is circa 1840's.
I bought it from e-bay, and replaced the leather pouch and strap with one I made.
