how do you inherit a gun like that legally.

Do you apply for the forms after it is in your possession?

Was it legally acquired in the past?

Why don't you delete this post until you find out for your own good.

x2.

If it was "deactivated" then it may no longer "be" a gun; if it was rebuilt into semi only, it may be legal; if it is still a machine gun *and* it was registered then you can inherit it (form 4?) I think it's even tax-free but you have to play the paperwork game prior to actually getting it.

I would delete this post, find out if its a full auto, make sure it is going to you, AND THEN ask questions about the transfer here FIRST before a post like this.
is the gun privately held or in a trust/estate?
