I call upon you to help me find a part

Good link! I was reading that last night. They do make a reproduction setup, but it converts the gun to a newer style where the inner tube slides out (like the Marlin 60). I was hoping to keep this gun the same style as original.

does not midway or brownells sell a "universal" tube?

If they do I can't find it.
Wisners makes a replacement unit but it is a different style. I would like to get an original style.
