Did anyone save the stack of dimes, 2 part videos? I found the link on here because I searched! And the videos were removed by the user. Does anyone have them? Maybe repost them? I have a friend here in Iraq that want to see what happenes to $1.80. lol Thanks guys...

Thanks, looked at that, but wanted to see what it did to the steel the other guy shot at and the carnage it caused to the log. Good Shiet.

i am gonna go out on a limb and say... if you stepped around a corner in a hallway and got off 2 shots with dimes... you might not kill the douch bag but i would say the threat would be over. that shit would suck the balls

I'd say being slapped with a handfull of dimes out of a shotgun would do the trick in stopping someone...that would be like brock lesnar punching someone in the face while laying on top of them.

I'd feel safer with dimes in a home-protection load as they're unlikely to penetrate walls unlike a load of 00, keeping my daughter, wife and neighbors relatively happy. You can talk about control all you want but I don't have home invader-shooting practice or experience and still don't know how accurate or calm I'd be having to pull the trigger on a bad guy.

Birdshot is a virtual ball of lead inside 3 yards, and would disperse better on interior walls if you missed. Save your dimes and buy #6 shot.

With a 12 Guage and 00 buck, you can clear out yer hallway without leaving yer bed.

What if the intruder is in your kid's room?
I've been wondering what would be the best load to have in the mossberg if I find some sickie in my daughter's room and he's got a hold of her when I get there. I don't want that big of a pattern if I'm taking a guy out in the same side of a room my kids in.

I practiced with a target similiar to this one at the range

00 buck still patterns pretty small at 6' to 8'. It stayed in "pedo guy's" forehead. I still preferred the slug for the headshot right next to my kid.
So, right now my the first round is a slug followed by low recoil 00 buck.

I worry about the little plastic cup thing behind the slug, though. I've seen it bust through the paper at the range. Does it have any lethal potential?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Pattern yer shotgun/load. In the above example-simply aim at the perp's left ear. The spread will take care of business.
