Thumbs up hand-polished AR15 BCG...follow up
Well, when i first did this, i wasnt sure what i would expect in the long run...but im impressed.

Every time i shoot this weapon, cleanup is a breeze.

I get some CLP on a paper towel and just wipe the shit away. then i get a dry paper towel and wipe the residue away. No scrubbing, no elbow grease.

It is slicker than snot and cycles soo smooth compared to some other AR's i have picked up with the regular coated bolt.

I recommend this to everyone.

Just in case you are wondering... i took my bolt carrier group and sanded the finish off of it, then polished it progressively finer up to #0000 steel wool.

Ive got a stainless BCG. I cleans nicely every year or so when i decide to clean.

Did the same polishing to the bolt and FCG on my Saiga. It's slicker than snot and cleans easily.

Love this mod.
