They already have that. It's on an island at the westernmost tip of Martha's Vinyard. Check it out on a map.

I think we would ALL have to become COLO residents to make the gun thing work...so, why would you be working in M, if you are a cop in CO?

You can have a volunteer fire department, and nobody's ever "on duty" or "off duty", everybody's "on call" and as many as can respond, do; is there any reason you can't have a volunteer police department under the same basic conditions? Last edited by Scott@Rockstomper; 11-17-2009 at 04:26 PM. |

I love my wife.
Me: I'm might be making an executive decision soon. Her: Oh ? Me: Yeh, were going to buy part of a Ghost town so I can be a cop and have even more cool guns. Her: Better do it quick before they figure it out

meh, not a good price.
What about incorporating one of these: http://www.landsalelistings.com/usa/...ohn-day-river/ or http://www.landsalelistings.com/usa/...-hunting-land/ or http://www.landsalelistings.com/usa/...ey-investment/ Just 1 site & seconds of searching on Google. Lots of land out there 4 sale, just have to have a means to make income. Anything near anyone is of course going to be more $$$ Here is an alternative: go to http://www.landwatch.com/Natrona-Cou...e/pid/50002683 and buy this place. 92,200 acres for $11.2M. So, if you get 1,120 people to pop $10K each, you could give everyone 40 acres to homestead, and still have 74 square MILES to put in every type of firearm discharging range one could think of (2,000 meter range, full 3-gun IPDA type town, etc), a massive communal 4x4 shop, offroad park, RV area for tourists, "Main Street" with taverns & "nice ladies" which live up stairs, and an airstrip. So 144 square miles to work with would be very nice indeed. Hell, I live in a town that has double that population and is only 3.1 square miles in size. You could put the people on that land and not even know there is another soul on the planet (except for the occasional shot ringing out (during agreed to hours of course).

In between DFW and Houston is a town called Gun Barrel City so maybe this pirate/OSR town can be called Gunfukery
It would be nice to have a good bug out COMMUNITY in case 2012 comes true The city would have establish some sort of dual residenicy policy, and allow some internet policing. Which would mean having some high bandwidth and networked cams as part of the towns expense. As part of city charter it might be good to allow the city to publish private notes that are backed by a pre-set, fixed quantities of Brass, lead, and Gunpowder. Whick would mean the City and bank would need a big ammo storage area as well |

I'm THERE! Though it's in a different Grand Jurisdiction, I have 2 more years left on my Warden's Certificate.
