So this is how my GSG looks right now..........

In the pics, the cocking spring isn't installed, so it looks "funny"...if anyone even noticed....

It is functional

I do need to do a little work on the cocking tube internal extension though as I'm not satified with it. I seriously need about 5 of these as I have several different versions of it already.

Nothing I've done to it is permanent either.

I think this is my favorite layout though, I just wish it had a flash hider...

Seriously though....the dumbest part about this is that I need at least 3 or 4 of these damn things for all the variations I've already worked out or have parts laying around for.....

Good job.
I like the first one I saw with the nice looking wood on it. I think I'd flip the cocking tube so the handle was still back by reciever.

I pondered exactly that after looking at the pictures. I might try that tonight. I think it might solve my inner tube woes.

I honestly don't know what style I'd like. I "slipped" on a couple different ones and just wasn't sure. The 3-prong M16A1 style looked pretty close to best. I'm not sure what's correct really for a G3 anyhow

The barrel diameter lets me ALMOST thread a 1/2-28 on there. The threads bite, but it still wobbles.

. That's where I got the idea. I'm just not that patient with wood and I couldn't get the wood stock adapter thingy to fit the receiver just right. I just wasn't happy with the fit. Plus, I like the black better.

Yeah the GSG bbls are too small for 1/2-28
Easiest thing to do is to turn them down to what ever the Walther P22 is (7x1 maybe) and then use an adapter.

Oh if you haven't yet add a phot to the cool builds thread.
