Checking the hog trap...
These were taken by Toledo Bend Reservoir in East Texas. I was in that area running dogs in December

Holy fuck that's a big one. I'd hate to walk up on him.

Now what would be funny is if they walked up and found that.... with a bunch of hogs eating the dead gattors tail.

Nope, game warden cut away part of the trap and released him.

fixed
![]() Maybe I'm just prejudiced, though. We have a lot of problems with those around here, lots of farm animals come up missing when their little mating season rolls around. Fawking aggresive too. We've got a small 20 acre pond on our property, we get a dozen or so 5-6 ft gators in there every year. A few years ago we were out there in our small aluminum boat(my fiance and myself), and I saw this 20+" head pop up and then submerge in front of the boat.....I decided not to freak the fiance out and said I needed to use the can, started paddling towards the dock. Fawking gator.....big one......started trying to chomp my damn paddle! Fiance was freaking out, gator bumped the boat once, I decided that was enough and he got a few .45's to the forehead. Reported to G&F, they came down and did a report, no issues. But that was some scary shit. |

Couldn't tell you. I was curious so I went looking for more info. Happened in Sept. 07, and even made the local paper.
