I need help finalizing the design of these targets.

they are for a military match which is at 200 yards
calibers include

5.56
5.45
7.62x39
7.62x51
7.62x54
.30-06
8mm
5.5x77
7.7
.303

with that wide range of power i need something that is going to work with small power and side hits as well as hold together for large power center hits.

imagine this but made of metal.

That is my mock up on an offday at work

any suggestions?

not sure whats wrong with the pictures.

and i cant afford to buy im looking to build if possible.
the lower the cost the better because this will mostly come out of my pocket.

IM basically looking at making a piece of angle iron with a piece of flatstock hinged to it.

that way when it falls it can be easily brought back up.

I think ben was reffering to simple AR500 plates, what youll need to stand up to the larger calibers.

But I dont remember if this was on here or else where, the precut AR500 plates?
