NICE!!!
Is it .308 or .30-06? Kinda hard to tell with that little bitty picture. looks like -06...
Checklist goes
1919(check)
Some kind of mount()
Crank Fire
I am heading out to the state's biggest gun show tomorrow.
Again, Great purchase, and get some more pictures up real soon!

Sorry about the shitty pic.

Its a .308, now im trying to decide if i want to set it up a6 style or what...

Im thinking its definitely going to need a mount on the roll bar of the 4 runner....

It also came with close to 500 rounds of ammo, so tomorrow should be a fun day. Ill work on some pictures tomorrow.

A saiga is for sure on the list. I just wanna make sure when i jump into that project i have enough funds to do it right. (tax stamp, etc...)

I decided i probably aught jump on the 1919 sooner than later because i can only see them getting more expensive as time goes on.

I have too many damn wants.

Yes, you do. The thrill of the tripod wears off sorta quickly, but there is something about laying down in behind it and just rattling off rounds that is very cathartic.

My 1919 has the A6 conversion as well. Well worth it. I like shooting it from the hip though... Anyway once you get it dialed in, you'll have a blast. Mine hates .308 but loves 30-06. No matter how I set it up, it'll jam at least once every 20-30 rounds with .308.

Also when it gets warmer I'll take some pics of my anti-aircraft tripod. You stand/sit under it and shoot down any commie planes flying over head!!

1919s are just awesome.

Went out and shot it today and all i can say is oh my damn...

Its a really good thing i only brought ~ 80 rounds of .308

It went pretty much like this:

"Bang...................

Bang..........

Bang....

Bang....

Bang..

Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang.Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang Bang.. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang.

Fuck no more ammo!"

It ran pretty well, the trigger pull is absolutely terrible, It never jammed, but a couple times it didnt feed a round into the chamber. (any ideas?)

Here are a couple terrible, tiny pictures.

Yeah, failure to feed. That's what min does too. Not really a "jam" I guess.

Anything you know of to help the trigger? There were a couple times i was bangin away and all the sudden it would stop. It usually ended up just being because i wasn't pulling the damn trigger hard enough.
