I’ll say he perjured himself stealing Henry’s tag line “load on Sunday, shoot all week long”. Besides that it’s a good article.

Hunter has been a writing opinion/ editorials for the WP for a long time.
It's funny considering his history in fiction and the leanings of that particular paper. Like others have said, he did an interview with American Rifleman that was quite good, not too long ago.

I think it is great to see something like this in such a liberal paper and area.
"Yes, they can use semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, protected by the Second Amendment and unlikely to be banned by local law, but women generally don't care to put in the training needed to master them. Nor can the elderly handle them adeptly." I disagree with this statemneyt though. I feel it is much easier to shoulder a long gun and shoot it accurately than to quickly fire a handgun. Especially for those he use as examples.
