Wow very nice set up! Where the hell in Ca are you going? Im rite on the coast and all we hunt is rivers. None of the lakes allow Bowfishing

i like the setup. nice platform. you suck. i didnt even get to go bowfishing this year. the leds would be a nice touch.

LEDs still need improvement, but it's nice bowfishing at night in silence without the generator blaring and pissing off the hippie campers

We have one lake here that we can fish but it gets super windy and you cant see shit. You also cant hunt at night...

jeff, how do you like the onieda for bowfishing? i have been thinking about upgrading to one latey. right now my bow is beyond its prime.

I will not use anything but an Oneida.

Oneida Black Eagles are where it's at, then the older Aeroforces next to that. You can find very good deals on them if you know where to look. Ebay used to be cheap but now everyone is selling Oneidas for profit only.

The Ospreys are marketed for bowfishing but they are cast risers where the Black Eagles are milled. Ospreys are going for $800 plus where you can find a prime Black Eagle for under $500 easily

What the hell does one do with all those carp after the hunt?

We used to do a little flooded tree wading for carp just to kill time during the day. Maybe killed one or two, they just went to the bank... But a 55 gallon barrel full?!?

The asian/black fisherman will gladly take any carp you give them. They will even just throw them in the trunk of their car, if not vineyards, hog farms will take them or even just take them home to bury in the flower garden. Makes awesome fertilizer

Ive been working my ass off getting my boat ready for spring. Just have to weld up my raised deck for the front, lay down the aluminum floor and build the small rear deck for storage and seats.

I was also just made Prostaff of a bowfishing company, so I am pretty stoked.

Few updates, got my aluminum deck frame welded up. Fully removable. Still waiting on my new LEDs, mount my troller, do a little wiring and she's ready for the water

Needs a little work, but will be on the lake soon enough

I use the PSE Barracuda but I have 7 AMS Fish Hawks and 2 AMS Fish Hawk Jr.s in the boat for people to use. Here are some pics of the kids and their fish..

Dang this thread makes me wanna get into bow fishing!

I'm not sure how big the bow fishing scene is down here in south Florida, I'm going to check out some South Florida fishing forums to see what the laws are and whats being shot here.
