I've had one for a couple years, but I haven't used it much. It goes hiking and wheeling all the time, and stays in my backpack. I've only used it a couple times for cutting kindling in the form of small branches and the regular setting up camp stuff like cutting rope and stuff with the blade..

I like it, just make sure it's latched and you don't "revolve it" while your holding it or you might get a nice cut, the saw (IIRC) comes out hte back, teeth first, into what would be your palm if you were gripping the knife to use it.

The action on mine is not "button activated"....ya need to begin the action by pressing the thumb index (thumb nub) on the blade outward...then it launches open.
