Just need some tacticool extra tall sights or rings. Unless shooting in a general direction is good enough.

I imagine an AR with an optic like a ACOG on it would probably see above the filter.... im sure there are longer skinnier filters out there.... just gotta make a thread adapter.

How does this work? Is the adapter serialized? That's really a waste if you have to pay $200.00 per filter.

I believe so but to be honest I never paid much attention to it so I cant say for sure

This has been done before except it was an adapter with coke bottle threads on it for use with 1 or 2 liter plastic bottles. Adapter was serialized as the supressor.

So, is there an ATF letter on this? This might just be a cool little form 1 can if I get to swap filters as they wear out.
Do you think that one of those filters would hold up to 5.56? How about .308?

I disagree just due to how bulky it is and considering that a $5 oil filter might last two or three mags worth of shooting.

Would be funny to see someone try this with a .308. As was said, it was done with a bottle adapter years ago. If you have the skills to machine the adapter on a form 1, then you could probably build a legit can.

This seems a little fishy to me. They are marketing this as a cleaning device for your rifle.
Looks like they will sell and ship the adapter to anyone with a credit card. No paperwork needed...uhg....

One of the major silencer mfrs (I forget who), has their serial on the adapter. This allows for replacement of the baffle, shell, and end cap without having to jump through hoops if a component gets damaged, or needs service.

I don't know what is going on with that "green" adapter, but that definately is supressing the sound, and needs to be stamped. And Cadiz is not a fly by night op, at least, they've been around the block for a few years and HAVE to know better.

My understanding is that the ATF said "no f'ing way" to the coke bottle adapter.

Which is why it was done years ago, and not in common use today.

I can't imagine that this device would hold up to scrutiny.
