Yeah that was my question as well.

I have to decide which weekend I will be in California and was really looking forward to meeting a bunch of California folks and shooting their rifles.

Now I may have to make that decision without any input and find other things to do in Cali.

no it did not get out of hand, everybody fucking pussed out once a some one actualy tried set a date and time.

like the unicycle get together, once it was lets do it on sat.......

every one started himhawin and bailed.

The last time I looked at that thread it looked like "Nor-Cal" was slowly moving to Nevada. I'm still down for a "Nor-Cal" gathering, I just need a date and a place to give me time to adjust the work schedule (and get ammo

)

I can't bring any of my stuff to CA, and wasn't the only one. Norcal still works for many people someone just needs to pick a date and start organizing.

This transpired because of the uncertainty and ambiguity of the OP. You can't ask a bunch of kids and room temp IQ gun freaks to agree on anything, (me included) you put it out there, take it or leave it, all welcome. Not a shot at the OP, just the obvious facts.

I'm still interested--still depends on my work schedule as the date gets closer. I'll come to NorCal to meet you peeps, and probably only bring my heavy barrel AR which definitely meets all the CA statutes. If it's in NV, I'll also come, then I can bring my little carbine and 30rd mags (and new 40rd mag, too!).

I'm not hung up on CA vs. NV. It's a meet-and-greet. I can legally shoot my guns here at home, and if one of my guns isn't clearly OK, it doesn't mean some cool people won't still be there.
