Broke a BBCS shock in a way it shouldn't have

I have pictures, this was a strange break, a possible default, IDK. Who can I talk to about this? I cant remember who I bought them from, or if it was straight from the PP website.

Lower end pulled clean out. The shock shaft then ripped a brake line off the axle, bent it, and almost broke it open, losing brakes on that trail would have sucked.

Limit straps are 2" shorter than shock travel, bolted to the same bolts as the shock. Threads were completely annihilated in the shock end, not great on the shaft either.
