My RCP Crawlers Wreckluse tuber build.
Time to get started on this. It has been in the planning stages for quite some time and I think I have a small chunk of it figured out.
HUGE thanks to RCP crawlers for such an awesome chassis! Check it out here: RCP Next step was to figure out how much room I have under the hood. Out of all the scale builds I have done none of them had a scale motor under the hood. This is the perfect time to start, the Wreckluse has such an open design that I couldn't resist. Here are some quick models of a scaled down 350 with the center hollowed to house a 540 motor. The motor will be brought to life soon. Along with the headers that are probably going to change once I start adding mounts for the engine and shocks. Possibly a bell crank steering setup as well. "thumbsup" ![]() ![]()

Nothing much yet. Just a simple gusset. Might add a few more, dont want to overdue it though. Also added the window braces. ![]()

Very nice build, be glad you can use a 3D printer! I want one but I don't want to spend $40,000 on the one I want.
![]() How strong is that formed ABS print out any way? should of made the chassis from that too. That would be awesome to have a fully built crawler from a 3D printer.

That actual motor inside the other is ridiculously cool. All about what kind of tools you can get you're hands on though
Which makes me made jealous you have access to a 3D printer. You can fab better RC stuff than I can fab real stuff Anyone plans on radiator/winch setup from the 3D printer or any other things like a transmission or transfer case?Sick work, can't wait to see the engine all painted up also
