Best battery choice

I bought a 4600 lipo saddle pack for my AX10.These are a little to large as they rub at full lock.What is the smallest lipo that will give me an hour+ runtime?

depends on what motor youre running & how hard youre running it. My gf's ax10 runs a goat with a 2 cell maxamp 2200 (2 1100's put together). It can go an hour no problem. Battery fits nicely next to servo on optional ax axle plate. My crawler I run a 1550 3 cell with a 45 turn motor. I can get close to an hour out of it HTH

Before I went to a MOA set up, I was running the Axial battery/servo plate on the front axle with the CKRC Lipo. It's a 3S 20C 1550Mah and it was giving me close to an hour run time. Several others in my club run that battery and have about the same run time as I did.
Now that I have a MOA set up, I run the Losi 2S Lipo where the transmission used to sit and have well over an hour run time...

I'm running a variety of Integy motors between 50-75 turn with a Novak Rooster ESC.I've been thinking of going rear stear and mounting a battery front and rear and then adjusting wheel weight accordingly.

i was gonna buy a couple of those batteries but some guy named harley on rccrawler said a bunch of people where having issues with the quality?? i later noticed he was sponsored buy the company that sells the batteries he suggesting instead of the ckrc...

youve got a bunch of guys running that battery with good results? please dont tell me your sponsored by ckrc!

Yea I read the same thing but I am still thinking of ordering the CKRC set up.

I run a 3300mAh 2 cell that runs anywhere from an hour and ten to an hour and 30 minutes. I run a brushed motor (Novak 55) with a Rooster. I'm in love with this battery and wish MAXAMPS didn't discontinue it because I want to buy a second one.

CKRC has got a lot of flack over there and I wonder how much is just made up bull shit to be honest myself.. I have never ordered from them but lots of other local guys have and no issues..

when it comes to lipos I would say 80% of the bitching is from a dumbass who should not have had a lipo in the first place.. do your research on them and even the cheapo ones from chinaland will last, that is what I have been running for about a year now. the only failures I have had is from running in water and mud, the tabs for the batteries corroded off.. battery was still fine but i had no way to get a new tab on the cell..

and for electronics I highly recommend http://holmeshobbies.com/home.php he is a straight up guy I have ordered from him many times and asked him lots of questions. he is not biased like the other "gurus" he will tell you if someone has a better solution then his for electronics..

the internet must be a scary thing for a smalll business advertising...make or break your company with just a couple good or bad customer reveiws...

i kinda treat it like the stuff you see about vendors/products in the toyota section here, many opinions, many rumors, a lot of shit talkin by people who heard from there uncles dogs veteranerians boyfriends cousin...

the internet has got to be a double edge sword for allot of these guys yeah it is cheap to advertise but it super easy to get hung out to dry by a small group of douche bags to.. and with R/C there is the constant he copied my design crap flying around.. when the fact is 80% of our idea's are copied from real trucks..


and your right best way is to get a idea of the guys that are not bought or just a plain dumb ass and try get there reviews and idea's..

depending on your set up, you should see a average of about a hour run time from our CKRC 1500 lipo. As far as quality, we have sold over 600 of these batteries in the last 2 months and we have only had to warranty 4. Its a great battery at a great price.

Booger wledz you are correct, harley is a sponsored driver for one of my competitors, so of course he rec the other battery. Thats the internet for you, i would hope my sponsored drivers do the same.
