Rummy's Toyota Truggy
Thanks to Pirate I found a truck I wanted to replicate.
![]() Hilux Truggy posted by KYOTA ![]() ![]() ![]() Still have a lot more work to do to it but it's hard not to drive since it can run. ![]() Still working on more detail. Just put an air tank in the bed like the 1:1 (opposite side I know) ![]() Still looking to finish adding lights, thinking about the mud flaps, wasn't done with the tube bed so need to add some details there and then need to finish the body work and paint it. Need to find a driver too and then I'll probably start working on more interior detail. Here are couple videos of it running on a local hiking trail and on our indoor course. thanks guys!
Those pics are great KYOTA! I'm just about as far as I'm going to go with the major stuff on the project. It's getting pulled apart now to do the final powder coating and finish up a few braces on the tube work. Just waiting on a battery I ordered to see if I can tuck it up in the front end somewhere. The larger battery under the bed is killing the climbing. Thinking about powder coating the axle housings, frame rails and tubing. Then just going to sand down the body with some 320 paper and slap some paint on it. Not going to get carried way with paint since it's going to get all scraped off anyway. Wondering if I should just go for the red or try something else. Been to busy working on a big 1/6th project lately to pay attention to this one. |
