RC crawler comp coarse

Does anyone have links or ideas to build light weight comp coarses? Would like to build large scale comp coars and have it mobile.

Here you go:

Hobbytown in San Jose and Concord have built them for the shop and I've been planning one for the Folsom shop. I've talked to both owners and they have been very happy with the courses and they hold up well.

If you want it mobile, just build it on a flatbed trailer......

There was one at Dixie Run one year, they had built a wood shelf like thing, and put cement in it and some rocks and let it dry. It was pretty cool I got to wheel on it but weighed alot!

I convinced my ol lady to give me a spot in the yard and I have a buddy that works for a landscape place out here in AZ . about 3 truck loads with my F150 and I have a decent sized course of all natural boulders . Its fun and easy to change up if we get board with a section . Also very nice for quick test runs when doing upgrades to my scorpion .

A local group has tried using the mortar mix idea before, and it only lasted for one comp. The motar just isn't made to stand up for the abuse that even RC crawlers can dish out. They're now using similar made panels but having them Line-x'd. They got a deal for $30 a panel since it's for the upcoming Midwest comp. They can change the textures in it as well.
