So I was hooked on RC Crawlers ever since they first started making an appearence but never really had my own . My Son has one so I kinda built his a little and drove it whenever he'd let me

. Well I guess my wife felt sorry for me because she bought me one for Christmas , so I finally have my own

. She bought me a RTR kit , here's what it looked like :

Here's what it looks like so far . I've only done a few minor changes , I don't wanna dump a ton of money that I don't have into this . So far all I've done is changed the lower links to the steel bent ones from STC I believe is the name of the company , changed the coils on the shocks to some softer ones from Associated , got some URL beadlock rings , changed the body and got some Hot Bodies tires and added weights and memory foams . Other than that it's pretty much stock , it works well for what it is and it's a blast .

Last night we did a little Crawling at a rock course that's close to my work as well . It's pretty cool but I like RCP's course better .

Damn the rovers are way taller than the claws. This is fun stuff with the kids.

My little one has allready broke the crappy rtr steering linkage.

Yup , definately alot of fun with the kids . My son's only broken the stock servo so I got him a Hy-Tech . The Rovers are huge , that's why i got them

, they look like 47" LTBs . . . So we did a little more wheelin yesterday morning , my Son and I went to little Moab and had a blast :

yeah , no shit . The Taco was getting pretty dusty , luckily it rained the last couple days so it looks clean again

Yeah this is about a 25 minute drive for me . There's an actual RC rock course about 5 minutes away from there too but I like Mini Moab better . RCP's man made course is about 20 minutes away too , that place is bad ass . We usually go there on Friday nights with a few of the Brawlers who have RC crawlers .

On the blue one ? . It was much worse when I first put the metal links and softened up the rear suspension . I did a couple of changes to it and it's alot better now . I still need to mess with both of ours a little bit .

I got some new pics of my uncle and I crawlin at Lake Isabella, now those are some sick rocks. I just gotta find time to resize all the pics and post em.
I love that blue Grappler. Those tires work really well, my buddy has a pair and sometimes they smoke my Rock Claws.
