Can anyone help

I under stand the pro's of fliping the tranny in my ax10. but I was hopeing someone could give me some simple directions to do so. I love this ax10 it is so much fun, I have done a bunch of mods and I think fliping the tranny might be next

I have pretty much done all the mods that CK crawlers say make it a stage 3, but I am still looking for more mod to do so I would also apriceate any other suggestions. thanks in advance.

if you search on rccrawler.com you will find full right ups...

Basically you just assemble the trans backwards and flip the needed stuff around. Its actually simple mod.

but they also allow your DS's to come in contact with the rocks more. On my shafted rigs I always ran straight links so that they would act as rock sliders. With stock shafts or even jato shafts you run the risk of tearing 1 off. If it was me, I would upgrade to punishers if you plan to run bent links.

You can do it the ghetto way and just swap your axles around and then use your rx to reverse the speed control direction. Ghetto but it works.

Ya--you might have more DS contact--but only near the diff--and on a TLT even with straight links your going to still make contact with the DS.. I have never seen a jato or any plastic shaft go boom due to rubbing on rock--only on a bind up and pop....

But you gotta look at it like this

Here is a rig with straight links as far as the width \____/

And a rig with bent links \__/

Same theory can be said about how wide your chassis is.

These are just things I have learned by building numerous crawlers and compeeting for some time now--addicting

That was not my question, I am already running bent links. The question was why run the rear links backassward and would they contact the three link when articulated. I do apriceate the input though.
