battery plugs

So whats the battery plug/connector of choice these days.

I want to get something better than the standard Tamiya style me and my boy have on our junk.

I am planning to buy a few new cars soon and figure i should standardize now.

X3 on Deans swapped them for my stock (tamiya, i think) ones when I replaced the battery to a 7 cell split pack mounted on the front axle
