I got one last weekend, to use as a general all-around basher. The Summit is basically the E-Revo with selectable locking diffs, lower gearing, and taller tires.

From my experience this past few days it does very well in snow in 2nd gear. 1st gear is still a little high for crawling, but I found that if I change the ESC to be in the "beginner training" mode it only allows 50% throttle - yet because of that limit it allows greater low rpm motor speed control. Thus crawling in this setting is pretty good, for an all around machine.

High speed snow running kills the batteries (two 2400 NIMHs) in about 13-15 minutes. When crawling the batteries last a little over 25 minutes

All-in-all, the Summit reminds me of my TJ, good everywhere but not enough to be competitive in anything. So it is perfect for my use.

Luckily I was working and could give my kids a good Christmas, but there are a lot of people out of work that could not afford extras.
