Evolution Warthog

Well last year I thought it would be fun to build a rc version of the Warthog. I asked Clayton( Twister) what he thought of the idea and he said giver her.

So work on it began, i call this "The Piglet"
I would like to give a quick shout out to Chris for all his help with this build. Thanks man!

A quick test fit on the axles

naw, this is for myself. Clay has the real deal to play with. Although a ride in the warthog would be pretty cool. **wink wink Clay**lol
The time i brought the Piglet to the shop Clayton had fun driving it. He side it was good practice learn the rear steer. (the Piglet has rear steer just like the warthog)

Glad you like it. The coolest part for me is that Clay signed the Piglet and the driver for me.
I'm still working on having the decals made and finishing off the interior along with ordering a different set of tires.

I wonder what i could get for this on ebay. jk

well getting laid off in Feb is starting to take its toll. I hope it doesn't come to this but the Piglet may be looking for a new home

I can't imagine how much time it not only took to make the chassis--but the time it took to map out the chassis to replicate...

Well I was lucky enough to be able to stop by the shop and snap pics of the hog when i needed them. I think i snapped three dozen pics in just on visit. That made it a bit easier.

I cant thank Clay enough for letting me take all those pics when i needed them.

I have done some minimal tubular on my rig--so I know how time consuming. But to be able to construct that rig from pics--pretty damn

Talk to a few of us locals before you sell....could prolly hang onto it for awhile until you got back on your feet and re-purchased...Cannot promise no carnage however

Man that looks identical to the real deal!
