E-braking
Noob ???
Is the old use of the Scandinavian flick being replaced with e-braking? Or is it a preference?

I think its a preference thing, mostly. I did learn that its a bitch to iniatie a flick, or power over drift in an AWD car with under 300 whp, but the e brake does fucking wonders for a quick 180 around cones or barrels in Gymkhana. Come into the turn, put the front bumper close to the barrel, grab the brake, and slam the car around, trying to touch bumper to barrel, slide wide, and let the awd slingshot you ot the turn into the straight

When you dont have the speed to slide, you use the e-brake to force it. Sorry, it sounds like I was kinda rambling there. Simply put.. No, its not replacing the e-brake turn. Its just a different type of maneuver for a different situation.

Thanks for the replies! So it seems like having a large power to weight ratio would smooth things out more..Years ago I had an Austin america that had
an auto in it that would upshift and downshift automatically,that thing was slow but was a blast to drive,seemed like you were always in the right gear....
