Not much to say for us. Engine seized about 2.5 miles into Stage 2. Not much could be done about that, so we were already on our way back to Minnesota during Parc Expose on Saturday.

We spent the afternoon in the garage on Sunday, and found out the cause.

Cylinders 1 & 3:

hmmmm:

apparently 3 years at 11:1, last year with 20psi of boost, and 2 events with 30psi, with Torco-blended fuel (unreliable octane levels) is a little hard on internals.

We've got a month to get the new motor built before the tuner will be back stateside to tune Dillon van Way's car.

wow 100 acre woods that brings me back....

that was my last rally ... man i f-ed my self and my car up there this was back in scca days.. was any of you guys there back in 2002 maybe 2003 and remember this??? i am the reason why your cage has be tied in to your frt. sturts .....

We were there in the 2004, but as spectators, as the #514 Impulse got a roll and a half at 80mph at LSPR fall of 2003... (03 and 04, or 02 and 03... Don't remember now)
