Documentation for the Clean up and Abatement Order

I have started a google docs location that will store many of the documents that RTF has aquired through the Public Records Act Request.

This location is public and anyone may look here to see what has transpired over the last couple years with the CAO.

I think it is important for people to see that the people out there that want the trail closed are active quite a bit. Requests go out for us to get involved and send a message every now and then, but these guys keep on making comments, writing letters and generally complaining almost constantly.

My apologies I just discovered that I had some permissions wrong on some documents in the folder. I am changing them so the are all public accessible. Check out the 8-17-2011 to 8-22-2011v2 letters for a timeline on the FS delays on work to be done this year.

Remember we have until Monday to let the FS know that holding up work to comply with the CAO is not going to be acceptable.

Talked with Marty Hartzell State water board. He said that its up to the county to request the order to be lifted.
The county will ask for it to be lifted once the bridge is done, at Ellis. This is because the crossing at Ellis is in the COA order.

So it will be at least a year before the county request the order to be lifted. i.e after the heavy equipment leaves the trails.

I would expect to see a request like this from the County in early 2014...

Please work with whomever admins the GoogleDocs space to get access to upload documents. Jacquelyne, you have a gift for analysis and you did GREAT work especially on water-related research.
