Ok, so no new callsigns today. It was a big class! Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday you will have them. If Monday is a holiday (President's Day?) then likely they won't post then.

Barb for president ............................................. Then things would get done!!!! :smokin:
|
@Tim, sorry! I was hoping too that the licenses would be online by last Friday. If they aren't posted by Tuesday i will call the ARRL and see if they have an idea when they will be posted. Maybe because I let my membership expire they put my VE session on the back burner! LOL. :mad3:
@Steve - thanks for the VOTE of confidence! LOL :homer: |
Call signs are on the FCC site.
Congrats all!!! |
To look up your callsigns, go to the following URL: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp
Click the menu for "search by name" (from the "search by" drop down menu). Type in your LAST, FIRST as you wrote on your FCC form 605 from the class. You likely have a KJ6Uxx callsign. Congrats! :D |
KJ6UDQ :smokin:
|
KJ6UCT Monitoring :flipoff2:
|
KJ6UCF and the wife KJ6UCG. Listening :D
|
Don't just "monitor", don't just "listen", now you can TALK! However, listening is a great way to get a feel for "how it's done".

KJ6UCY and KJ6UCZ The boys are now known as "Juicy":D
|
Congrats all. Not sure if all got processed today, but here is what FCC shows today, and it looks like there may be some strays. (Disco - have it in spreadsheet and can email you for your call sign thread, lemme know)
EDIT********************************* I was made aware that some folks may feel it inappropriate of me to have posted personal stuff in a public forum, so you all got redacted:flipoff2: But, you know who your are, so congrats again:D If you feel like exposing yourself, post up here:/forum/rubicon-trail/724559-list-ham-call-signs.html, and Disco can do the work:flipoff2: Again...congrats to the new Hams (if you have hard time finding your way around FCC website, PM me and I'll send you your call) |
The last four on the list aren't ours. Good work Dale! Thanks for posting these :) I don't think Kyle French was ours either... He snuck in LOL. John will email you a few others from the list that were either walk-ins or not from our VE session :)

Hey there Good buddy, what's your 10-20? 10-9 on that? :stirthepot::lmao: |
Bump for an old thread...
Given recent events once again bringing to light the value of HAM radio on the trail, are there any plans for another class / test in the near future? |
Another Ham Class!
Thanks for the bump. I really need to take a ham class and get a radio. Any info on the next ckass would be great.

I have been using the on-line Technician Class here - http://w6ek.org/veexams.html |
You guys are killin' us! Next class will be in the fall, probably October. We'll put it out there when it happens.
|
Right on, I'd be interested in the class. Been looking into Ham for the last couple years.
