America's Wildest Roads
Anyone catch it?
Had a section on the Rubicon. Some silly exaggerations but still fun to watch. And had some Rock Zombies too!!

Yeap, I just happened to catch it. Jimmy from the Zombies was featured in the Sluice box. Eldorado SAR had to go and rescue the Eldorado Sheriffs rig which ultimately was fixed by a trail user. Hmmmmm.....the irony. Always cool to see the trail on the TV none the less.

i watched it and it was fun to see. The best line was "they have massive 35 inch tires to make it through the trail". The funny thing is now 35 inch tires are considered small tires to most rock crawlers.

I just happened to watch it last night had no idea what it was about the all of the sudden there is my sons black yj and then my red cruiser on 42's. I just about freaked. My 6 seconds of fame
the story line was a little hoakie but still fun to watch. I heard them mention someone having a 10 ton winch. they did put a posative light on our sport and to me that is huge

This episode "Rocks & Roadkill" is supposed to air one more time later today. Direct TV says 4pm. Not sure about other networks. 9 hours of filming for 7 minutes of show. That was a long day..... Sure wish I could get the rest of the footage they didn't use. I know they got some good shots of us. But the producer told me that everything is owned by the Travel Channel. Who knows, some of the stuff they didn't use might just show up again on another show someday.
