RBS - been too long (suggest 1/13/2012)

It's been too long, dontcha think? Too long since we've had an unofficial BS (um, beer session?) to BS (um?) about Rubicon?

What're ya doing Friday night, January 13 (yup, Friday the 13th)? I'll buy the first pitcher, and volunteer a FOTR Trail Boss and an RTF President to buy the next two in line. Heck, with the right amount of begging, we might even get some other present/past FOTR, RTF, and/or independent illuminati to limber up their wallets for the good of the (beverage) cause.

What say, isn't it time to get together and have a cold one? This'd be a good time to discuss some of the issues with the comment period, talk about the snow that we aren't having, etc.

Friday nights are out for me. Come on Randii, lets work on Plan 2. Great idea.

Even the one about who buys the beer!

Sure can. BTW, your radio logged 6600 miles over the break as my backup in the rental car. It'll come back fully charged, fully programmed, and with frequent flyer miles.

After consulting some of the folks in this thread, we're shooting for Placerville Brewery -- I'll be there at 5:30 or 6:00 and will try to snag a table.

You two put your heads together and pick a date for late February, it is pretty easy to make these happen.

Pretty sure we all got the intent of your comment but let me translate it for you and of course if you feel I have misinterpreted your meaning feel free to correct me.

You feel certain people and organizations working for the betterment and maintenance of the Rubicon trail are a bunch of clowns. Clear enough?

Thanks for your input.

Come on out, have a beer... Dale doesn't bite (much) and we all love the trail. Not everyone agrees with me (understatement) or loves me (*huge* understatement), but I always get along with people in person, especially when there's cold beers to connect us.

Cool either way.
