Unless I'm mistaken isn't there a Forest service open house tonight between 5-8pm?

Yes, there is. It is an open houise for the DEIS comment period (public meeting as required by NEPA). They'll take DEIS comments there or talk to you about the project and process. It will be at the Forest Supervisor's Office
